Nogal Peak

Take dog-friendly Nogal Peak Trail to summit Nogal Peak and admire views from almost 10,000 feet above sea level. Located in Nogal, NM, within the Lincoln National Forest, this trail is a short rugged 1.3 mile route climbing over 1,000 feet in elevation. The steep trail is best suited for hiking and typically sees only light footfall. The trail begins at Crest Trailhead and should take two hours to complete. Those reaching the summit on a clear day are afforded beautiful views of the White Mountain Wilderness and Sierra Blanca Peak.
