  Excellent Park!

  We stayed in Salida for our anniversary on Memorial Day weekend. This park was only a 9 minute walk from our motel. It's a great area! They have a separate smaller area for dogs 25lbs and under in addition to the large area for the bigger dogs. There are baggies to clean up after them, waste cans, toys (balls, ropes), lots of room to run, even a couple tunnels to run through! Our dogs loved it. Lots of parking space. Very quiet and right next to the Arkansas River. We were very happy to have found this park.

  Great part, beautiful views, dog poop bags, sweet locals… Small-Medium size park and still awesome to stop at!

  Grateful!

  Was glad to find this online, still and hour drive from where we live but great to have something like where our dogs can run off the leash and meet other dogs. Wish there was more grass, other than that, it's great. They have baggies available for cleaning up after your dog, waste cans, playground toys, lots of running room, place to park, a trail nearby if you want to walk your dog on a leash. I am very happy they have this park.
