  Nice Place To Stop

  It was easy in and out. Many places to walk with your dog. Our girl liked walking through the rose garden. She never smelled that many flowers in one spot. Nice park to hang out in the shade and the sun. Very nice tribute to our veterans and the POW of all wars.

  I lived in Omaha many years ago, at which time, I brought my dogs to Memorial Park frequently. Technically, dogs are supposed to be leashed, but the leash law is unenforced.

  Memorial Park is a lovely manicured space, but it abutts Dodge Street, the busiest street in Omaha. If your dog doesn't mind or stay close, this situation has potential for an unhappy ending.
