We love this park! it’s not fenced in, it’s big and open with a great stream and makes for a fun hike.

    Beautiful park

Recently moved to the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, and this place has been a godsend for my poor Border Collie/Heeler pup, who enjoys the off-leash trail and greeting other dogs. The creek that runs along the designated trail also provides a convenient and clean water source, and a fun activity in spots where ponds form, if splashing is your pup's idea of fun. Most of the dogs that walk here are well-behaved, too.

    Not a fenced in park.

But the creek was a lot of fun for my puppy.

    An Oasis In The City

This park was so much fun for my dogs! They ran through the wooded trails, splashed in the creek, and played with the many other dogs that were also visiting. The only bummer was the one aggressive dog that should have been leashed was not attacked another dog. The dog was injured enough to be carried out by his owner. Total bummer...we left.
If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs or easily overwhelmed, this park is not for them.

    Completely unusual place

Virtually downtown. A great park for the memories of SLC.
But 100 degree heat slowed us down. Just driving though.

    Good off leash area

We brought our two pups here twice during a road trip between WA and CO. The park is shady with great access to a shallow creek that is perfect for splashing around. It's not a large area but there was plenty to keep the pups busy and to work off some energy after being in a car all day. Well behaved dogs and poop bags provided. The area is not fenced.

    Great On Hot Days!

I loved this one! We just tried it today and it’s an awesome dog park. Plenty of shallow water for them to run around in. Be aware of rattlesnakes and also be aware of the road because there is access from the trail. This is probably my favorite along with Tanner Park.

    nice and shady

Perfect stroll on this beautiful warm fall weekday! Loved the off leash path next to the creek. My kids and dogs loved jumping on the rocks in the water and running trough the leaves! I'm sure it's crowded on the weekends but today it was perfect!

    Crappy dog owners

Great park fun place just noticing some really crappy dog owners I mean they do there part to pick up there dogs crap but then they just leave a full bag of crap laying on the trail or around the park what the crap is that....

Great trail for socializing your pup

Really great park. Can be very busy with limited parking, and the water is hard to avoid if you want to keep your pup dry

    refreshing!

Beautiful creek with dog poop trash can. Off leash area is great, narrow paths to keep pups from wandering too far. Great place but parking is rough

    *best*

Best place ever to be outdoors and let the dogs explore! Everyone is friendly and respectful. You feel like you're far away instead of in the city. Lots of tree and plenty of room.

    The best!

I love this park! The trail is beautiful, the creek is awesome for the dogs to play in, and the people are super nice. During winter, be sure to wear Yaktrax or something similar since it gets super icy.

This is by far my favorite Dog Park so far. I've only been in Utah 2 months and I will say dog parks are awesome here. The parking was not the greatest but once you got to park I was totally in awe so beautiful. Trails were shady and cool made my walk so awesome!!!
