Fido is welcome to join you on the trails at Dornix Park located in Big Timber, MT. This 50 acre recreation area on the banks of the Boulder River offers opportunities to hike on over 3 miles of trails. You and your pup can enjoy a picnic at a table in the shade, relax on a park bench, or cool your feet and paws off in the river.

I visited Dornix with my dog on a hot day and found lots of shade, comfortable seating and even a shallow spot on the river that my dog could enjoy. if you are traveling like I am, it’s absolutely worth a stop. it’s a lovely historic homestead. Trash cans at entrance only so pack it in - pack it out.
