One Bone is Too Many Bones

Stopped by, while traveling across country. There were only two dogs in the park, they were very aggressive, extra large pit bulls in the park, with “Service Dog” vests on, and an owner paying zero attention to them. I have never seen a service dog that was aggressive, in any way, shape, or form. Service dogs, my left toe! There was no way I was going to take my shy, skin & bones lab I just rescued in there with two aggressive dogs & an owner who ignores them. We walked around the store (or theater, or whatever) right there, and got back in the car. Getting a motel room, and we’ll try a different dog-park tomorrow.

    Terrible park, great dog area

The park is full of homeless that live there, use drugs there, throw food on ground. Pretty awful scene in the people section of the park. With that being said, the dog area is very nice. I go the same time every evening and meet up with the same dogs and dog owners. All of the dogs are wonderfully well trained and have helped my newish rescue pup learn how to be a great dog! Small dog area and large dog area, but most of the dogs know each other so they mix company. Owners clean after their dogs, nice shade trees and sitting area and water available.

    don't come here

There are approximately 20 homeless persons living in the park and there is a lot of litter. This park doesn't feel safe.

    Beware!

My dog was attacked here by another pitbull. The owner is someone who comes there often and finds victims for his dog to fight. Since the Animal control is under the ruling that you are at your own risk when you enter the dog park, then there is nothing they are willing to do about this. This guy knows it and will use this park as a place to fight his dogs against unsuspecting dog owners. It can be at any dog park. Laws need to change on this.

    AMAZING

This is the best dog park in Las vegas for your dog to run freely! So safe and fun with an off leash option! My chiuauha and I came from los angeles to stay at flamingo. After that, I could just realax on the bench to watch my dog play and have lost of fun! I highly recomend this place! And about a block from here, there is a small dog beach to swim at with your favorite dog! HAVE FUN!!!!!
