    BE CAREFUL!

We've been going here since we got our first dog about six years ago. The occasional scuffle has occurred but nothing major. That changed today. I am the owner of the two Vizslas, Scout and Rocky, who go to this park all the time. Today at 4:30, a fairly heavy gray and white pit bull ran into my legs and knocked me flat on my back. I am injured. To what degree, I don't yet know. I was sort of in shock and just wanted to get my dogs out of there. One lady, Kristen, was kind enough to help me leash up my dogs and get out of there. . My tailbone is injured, I think it's crushed. I have abrasions on my hands and arms, my upper left back is starting to hurt. I did nothing right as far as documentation goes as I was sort of in shock and just wanted to get my dogs out of there. As I was lying on the ground, I looked over and saw the dog coming back towards me so I stood up before I should have. Absent Kristen and another woman who turned the water fountain on so I could wash the blood off my hands, no one helped or came forward. If this had been a child or an elderly person, they could have been even more severely injured. I don't want to sue anyone. I just want to make sure that this clearly unsocialized and probably un neutered dog doesn't go back to the park. The lady who helped me with the water fountain said that the same thing happened to her but she hit her head and sustained a concussion. I am not sure if it was the same dog. I just want the owner to know that he cannot take his dog back to the park and not sure how to do that exactly. I am too injured for that particular dog to be around other dogs and/or people at a neighborhood dog park. As this community has grown, I've noticed that the dogs have been more aggressive and some owners just do NOT pay attention or bring their un neutered dogs here (which the signage addresses.) I cannot recall if it says they can not be there or if it's discouraged. In my experience, every single time there has been a problem with a dog, it's an un neutered dog. I wish this could be enforced with a number to the HOA or something. I'm telling you, don't take your kids to this park. The people are generally nice but don't expect a whole lot of help if you get injured.

    great place

Just learned about this park and it is great. There are almost always dogs there and all owners have been very friendly. Gates could have been done better; Large gaps

Good park most of the time

The majority of dog owners who come here are very friendly and responsible and their pets are well behaved. But then the occasional moron shows up with an aggressive or unpredictable dog, who sits around playing with their cell phone while their dog runs around wreaking havoc on others. These people don't have a clue about animal responsibility. They don't know when to leave and tend to blame your dog for any scuffle their dog caused or was involved in. Please be aware and use good judgment. Otherwise, it's a fun place to go.

    Dog park rules

Please be a responsible dog owner and educate yourself a little on canine behavior before bringing your pooch to the park. By taking the time to read up on park etiquette and the DOS and DONTS, you can make a big difference! Too often, owners and their dogs get into squabbles over pet behavior, which could be avoided with just a bit of reading. There are many easy to read online articles. Just GOOGLE "dog park rules".

    Beware

I took my five month old golden puppy and he came down with Giardia. If you love your pet don't take him there. I'll never return there and have learned an expensive lesson.

    great park!

Great park! Has a large small dog area that has both dirt and grass but more grass than dirt. Be mindful of the gates due to the large gap. Small dogs can slip right out and it's the gate to the small dog area...other than that it's a great place for dogs!

    Great dog park!

This is such a great dog park with two large and open areas (one for small dogs, one for big dogs). all the dog owners I've ran into have all been really nice. The park is clean as well! My dog loved it here!

    Great Dog Park

This is an awesome park to take your dogs. I come here with my two Yorkies once or twice a week. They love it here and move playing with the other dogs. Very fun and very friendly dog owners.

Two fenced areas, very well maintained. Large and small dogs separated. Water fountains available for dogs. Owners are friendly. My dog enjoys being there.
