Leashed dogs are permitted to join you on the 2-mile loop trail which is accessed via a parking area at 4829 Bulls Dr. The preserve provides an ideal habitat for a variety of coastal wildlife species, and the trail itself offers views of Cape Charles Lighthouse located on Smith Island. Terrific wildlife
Leashed dogs welcome. Small parking lot for approximately five cars. No water, no restrooms. Some shade on trail. Heard lots of songbirds. Saw deer swimming, white ibis, and some monarchs! Note: bring bug spray for mosquitoes.
