  I went to Little Island after looking at reviews on here and reading their website that does not advise whether dogs are not permitted. Their google images also show that they have poop bags/trash cans for dogs.

  Arrived on 6/30/24 and was there with my 2 dogs with no issues for an hour. After the hour, 2 lifeguards told me that I had to leave and my dogs were not allowed. My dogs were calm and laying on a beach towel and did not cause any issues. I later asked an employee that was working in the parking lot and they advised that their dog policy “depends on the day” the lifeguard stated that most days there is no issue but on days where there are a lot of people, they tend to deny dogs. Numerous people also echoed this experience.

  drove over 2 hours to be asked to leave after an hour of being there and 3 other lifeguards observed me and did not say we could nog be there.

  would NOT recommend.

  Dog friendly

  Doggo friendly. Only reason not 5 milkbones is there were flies that bite. Good size waves and miles of beach. Stay to the right of the pier and its miles of beach for you and your doggos. Just be careful as people fish from the pier and the shore. Lifeguard was very helpful and showed us some safe spots for us. Bring a lunch not much food availability.
