    Wouldn’t Go Again

The grounds are pretty, it’s basically two fenced in squares about the size of an acre on the side of a hill. Two benches, one water station (I think) we were there about 5 minutes and promptly left when my dog was attacked by an intact Doberman. The owner wouldn’t leave with his aggressive dog.

    Not great, Not awful

I find that the regulars there are not super friendly to new dogs. When it rains, or after snow has melted, it is a big mud pit. The size is great, but it is on a hill (which makes my dogs more tired so its a plus). It's off a road next to a park and the location is very nice.

Nice place but I wouldn't recommend going there after rain or melted snow etc. It turns into a giant mudslide. Like ankle-deep shoe-losing mud. When it's dry it's a nice place.

    Not safe for small dogs

Many ignorant owners let their big dogs play in the small dogs area. There are 2 different areas for a reason, SAFETY !

    Very Happy

With going to one dog park earlier in the day and not being too impressed, we tried this one. The people there were so incredibly friendly and always welcomed new dogs. Yes the fence is falling apart but nothing too serious and still safe even for our curious puppy. Plus we were informed by a board member that the fence was getting fixed once the weather got nicer. There toys there so you don't have to bring your own and right next to an open field off a not so busy road. Very happy with environment and experience. Def coming back

    large dog park

I just got home with my 4 1/2 month puppy weighing 50lbs. What a big disappointment! First you can't close the second gate so your dog could escape. It was a giant mud hole. Dog waste everywhere., and a very steep hill. We will never be back. I do not recommend for large dogs.

From a small dog owners point of view

I am a daily visitor of the park and find it most relaxing and enjoyable, with very few incidences of larger dogs on the small side.. If they are in there, I nicely ask them to go to the large dog side, and they always have respected my request. I have often seen small dogs in the large side as well. Everyone should go there understanding it is your own responsibility for your dog. If your dog is aggressive don't bring it there. This park is a blessing for us dog owners. Go visit others in our area and you will see a huge difference. I have met so many wonderful people there and the regulars are very responsible dog owners, and always ready to lend a helping hand to each other. So please don't come down on the park in general, there are always a few bad apples in a barrel, and if you have a problem nicely speak up and most everyone will cooperate, and you and your furry friends will really enjoy a good thing.

    Owners are very lazy

Many of the owners just sit at the top of the hill and do not watch over their dogs or clean up after them. They also let their dogs roam off leash outside the fenced play area, and today, a bigger dog pounced on my small dog. I won't be visiting this park anymore and do not recommend it for small dog owners.

Nice park but not safe for small dogs

I wish all owners would pay attention and read the signs which dogs go where. It clearly states the limit for small dogs is 30 pounds, yet some idiots will put 40-50 pound dogs in there. They don't watch their dogs, and I agree they don't clean up, yet the park provides bags for pickup. It's a park for dogs, not a social gathering, or a smoking pit

Owners are worse than the dogs

Be very careful if you have a small dog. Some ignorant owners will let their big dogs play in the small dog part of the park. Some owners refuse to clean up behind their dogs, big or small. It's a shame that some owners are not concern about keeping the park clean and safe for all dogs

    Beautifull View

Located on the side of a hill overlooking a large public park area, this dog park has a great view. It's real easy to miss the small sign letting you know to turn down the street to the parking lot (it looks like an ally). The street is just downhill of a cemetary. The parking lot is very close to the park entrance.

There are two dog runs, with large old trees and benches underneith the trees. The park is on a slope, and my dog tires out quick from running up the hill.

It gets really muddy when it's wet out.
