    Newhall Park Paw Patch

    Newhall Park Paw Patch is a dog-friendly park in Concord, CA. Enjoy a leashed walk through this lovely park, or let your pet run free in the fenced, off-leash dog park. Be sure to bring water with you. The Paw Patch is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. Dogs over 30 lbs are not permitted in the smaller dog area at any time. Use of the larger dog area is limited to a maximum of 30 dogs at a time. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind. Pets must be current on all vaccinations, non-destructive, and leashed outside of the off-leash area. Visit Website

      Great place...

      This is such a fun dog park. It's not only fun for our pets, there's a group of regulars that go that I have gotten to no and now I am 1 of those regulars. It's just alot of fun! We laugh, joke, chat, and we may or may not sneak wine now and then while watching our doggies running around wrestling and having a blast. With that being said, the city use to take care of the grounds but it hasn't been taken care of it too good in the last few months. There's a lot gofer holes which has really screwed up the grass that use to be so nice.
      Everyone cleans up after their pets so you won't have to worry about stepping in poop.
      The City of Concord needs to step up with there upkeep again but its still the best around...

      two parks in one,

      small dog park for under 30 pound dogs, big dogs have a very large play area. water available on site

      closed on Thursdays for cleaning/mow.

      Great park!

      I love bring my pups to Newhall everyone is super friendly and the regulars are so kind. Its a bit of a walk to get to the park but its a scenic walk. Bigger area for large dogs and small area for the tiny pups.

      Nice location - for residents only

      We just moved to Concord and took both our dogs here to socialize and play to find out that there is gate (you need a key to open) as the park is for local residents only. In another works if you are not a resident within that community don't go there.

      Best Dog Park Around

      There are two fenced in areas, one for large and for small dogs. Both are well kept full grass and always clean. Also great walking trails around with many ponds and ducks. Love going!
