    Nice Dog Park

I have taken my 1 year old dog here numerous times and always meet different dogs as well as see 'regulars'. It a great place for dogs to run and have fun. Trash cans and dog bags located in park area. Fenced off area for dividing big vs. small or geriatric dogs. Water is only turned on from April or May until September. There is a small pond nearby that my dog will wet her feet in sometimes and a frisbee golf course nearby so sometimes seems like alot of cars in one area. Also, it's nice that there are a dozen or more regulars that help newcomers follow the rules posted on the sign at the gated dog park area which helps keep the park clean of dog poop and keeps out the aggressive, unsupervised dogs, and to keep children from entering the dog park and being accidently trampled by a pack of large playful dogs.

    So much fun!

I bring my 8 year old mutt here occasionally, and I am glad to say that she absolutely loves it! There is a pond to the left of the dog park and we always walk over there so that she can play in the water and get a drink. There are two fenced in areas, one for dog 30lbs and under, and one for dogs over 30lbs. Occasionally some people will break the rules and bring their puppies inside the over 30lbs fence to get trampled, and some other times people will bring their aggressive dogs in and let them bully the other dogs, but that is to be expected by some people. In all, the park is very beautiful and it is an absolute great place to socialize your dog and let them have fun. I highly recommend this park to everyone I know who has a dog--so if you haven't taken your dog there yet, what are you waiting for? On a nice, warm day take your dog and I guarantee they will have the time of their lives, and you will be happy just seeing how incredibly happy they are!
