    Great for running trails

Our brittany loved it! Lots of places to explore and roam. Probably not the best for dogs who need big open spaces for fetching, etc. Bags and water provided. Pretty well picked up. Thanks Seattle!!

    Mostly mellow, always cool

When you and your dog(s) need shade on one of Seattle’s increasingly toasty summer days, North Acres delivers. It also has a built in water unit, bags, some downed trees and stumps you can use for agility training, and regular upkeep from volunteers (the reviewer complaining about not being allowed in probably came during one of their regularly scheduled restoration sessions). The narrow, branching trails are perfect for training privacy, and they offer a haven to shy dogs who want to walk off leash without being cornered. Other reviewers are correct that it’s not built for ball throwing, but there are a few spots regular visitors use that work just fine.

    Trailers - good for walking

a lot of trailers for dogs to play and run, but no place to play balls. Moose loves since he can make friends

    Stanky overcrowded mud pit

oh but first you get to park next to the encampment and play “beast or human” when encountering the mounds of feces

    not for runners

If your dog likes to run and get the zoomies, this is not the park to go to! There wasn’t any space to spread out, throw a ball, or just run. With all the skinny paths, I almost felt like I was imprisoned. We will not be going back.

    Small & Intense

Came with my GD meetup group for the first time. Its probably better for smaller dogs. And I did notice the dog walkers that came in with several dogs weren't paying attention to the pooping and cleaning it up. And there were several fights, probably won't go back.

    Great off leash park

This park gives you the unique feeling of hiking through the forest with its mini trails. You'll meet a variety of dogs and their owners here. The place is wonderfully maintained by volunteers.

    Weird Layout

This park is just ok. Has a strange layout - fenced skinny paths, no open area to throw a stick. Lots of tree coverage, all wood chips to keep the mud down. Does have water and bags.

Was told I couldn't come in unless I volunteered for their work party. Last time I checked this was owned by the city and volunteering was an option. That being said, rudest dog park I have EVER encountered. 3-15-2014

    well attended dog park

This park has a wonderful layout, but due to the high use it is often muddy or feels crowded. The paths are ideal for training your dog to heal. Not a lot of space for chasing balls. I appreciate the doggy bags and access to water.
