Reviews
Visitors generally praise the Dog Park at Ed Levin Park as a spacious, well-maintained facility with separate areas for small and large dogs. Some travelers note that the small dog area tends to be less crowded than the larger section, and a few express concerns about irresponsible owners allowing small dogs to play in the large dog area.

We evacuated our home in SC mountains due to fire. Our 10 month old Golden had a wonderful time running and chasing his ball. We went 2 days, at different times and had the place to ourselves. This was fine for him because all he wants to do is chase his ball. The afternoon breeze was lovely on a warm day.

We’ve been here probably about 3 times a week. Our dog spent most of the time on the small dog side. There have been 4-5 small dogs in late afternoon to play with. The big dog side has a lot more dogs, more than 10 at any given time when we were there. All nice dogs and responsible owners. We love this park.

Pros:
-Plenty of parking space, even on weekends
-Seperate areas for small and large dogs
-Plenty of shade with some seating
-Right next to a lake and picnic area
-…which means there are also bathrooms available nearbyCons:
-Parking fee $
-Small dog area doesn't seem to get as many visitors as the larger area
-Somewhat confusing drive up the mountain if unfamiliar with the area - KarenJul 2, 2019Awesome Dog Park
Was nervous bringing my pit mix pup. I have met too many intimidated by his looks and outgoing personality. My pup loves attention and playing with other dogs. We had a great time meeting and playing with others. Looking to coming here regularly.

It's a nice park and lots of shade..
WTF Camen? 1 bone for a park you never been to? - LoriAug 28, 2018Love this place!
This place is amazing. It features two large fenced areas for big and small dogs. The dog owners here are very welcoming regardless of dog breed. It also has a nice trail if you and your pup would prefer that (watch out for the cows though, they dont like it when dogs get close to their baby cows/calves). Always check your dogs for ticks and there are some sighting of rattlesnakes here. Other than that, i would highly recommend dog n dog owners to visit this spot

Our two little dogs have gone here a few times and rarely seen other doggies. Since our little ones don’t enjoy this dog park we usually walk them around the lake and the picnic area at Ed Levin which they love.

I love bringing my Rottweiller to this dog park. We are annual pass holders and visit almost daily. My dog is very playful and loves playing with other large dogs. One thing that has been concerning to me lately is that some dog owners are disregarding the sign for large or small dogs. They let their little tea cups run with the big dogs. It is a danger to their small dog and they should be on the side for small dogs. Daily fee $6.00 Annual.pass $95

Nice big park with 2 areas and more hills to walk with your dog. Dont forget that there is a fee to get into this park. $6 when we came on Sept 2017

Laughing at the ridiculous 1 star review from Carmen who has never been to this park. It's a great place for dogs of all breeds. My 14-lb chihuahua has met quite a few good playmates here that are bully breeds, labs , chis, mutts, u name it ! Great dog owners here with great well behaved dogs

So happy to have a place to bring my pit mix to play and socialize. How else are people to keep their dogs from being aggressive if they don't have a social friendly place to go?

re: Carmen's comments, how can you rate a park you have never attended? She obviously does not know dogs. I have a Bully breed and she is the BEST. Great park, some of the dogs come every day! I have never seen a real problem between any dogs.

I've been here before, all types of dogs I've seen. INCLUDING pitbulls. All friendly and sweet. Nice people, everyone cleans up and has a friendly attitude.
