Laurel Valley Plantation
Laurel Valley Plantation is a pet-friendly historical site in Thibodaux, LA. The Plantation is “America’s largest surviving 19th and 20th century sugar plantation,” and offers visitors the chance to learn about the harsh realities of life at this time on a guided walking tour. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, bring your leashed dog along with you to explore 50 original structures that paint a picture of early Cajun life, slavery, Reconstruction and beyond. After your tour, visit the Laurel Valley Store & Museum to browse antiques and crafts.
