Love this dog park because it has a lot of space for both small and large dogs. The only thing is people there are so judgmental and think they are too good. I'm a young and successful Hispanic women and people are quick to judge not only by my appearance but at the type of dog that I have. I have a Staffy Pit Mix and people are quick to run to the other side and start running their mouth. My dog has been trained very well that he doesn't even bark to other dogs. He will run around play with other dogs but there are some people who are too picky!!!! I've seen Labs get into it and people act like nothing happened but if a pit does the most minimal thing people will act like its the end of the world! I'm still coming to this park regardless. You all can get the work.

There are 2 area for large dogs (usually only one open at a time) and 1 area for small dogs. Grass and some mulch in some areas. It can get muddy very quickly at the lightest rain. I was not thrilled to see that several tall lightining poles from the adjacent baseball field are inside the dog park. Fast runnning dogs such as greyhounds are at risk of bumping into them. This dog park is not free. As the other Montgomery County dog parks, it requires an annual county dog park membership (I believe $45 for first dog, $5 for each additional dog).

This facility is easliy accessible off MD97 and has enough room for large and small dog compounds. There are secure entry areas where dogs can be unleashed and re-leashed before entering and leaving the park. My dog seemed to have enough play room to run easily and without crowding. Overall, the new facility in Olney is very nice. Amenities are not as numerous as in the King Farm dog park. More benches are needed (for people) and an on-demand water supply for the dogs would be nice.
