    nice park for dogs

Visited for first time today. Park is nice with grass and some shaded areas for humans. Poop bags are provided. Lots of room for my greyhound to run!

My dog loves his dog park friends

I've been frequenting this dog park more lately because of its convenient location to the freeway. I like how there are Shepherds there for mine to play with. He likes to play with his own breed and frankly I prefer it also. Non Shepherd people think my dog is aggressive because he growls when he plays. Shepherd owners understand that that's not aggression. Other owners freak out and don't understand the breed. I get that some may be but don't pigeon hole the whole breed. I like that this park provides Poop Bags as most are not providing anymore. I was told to make sure nothing was visible in the car because of break ins but that just seemed like common sense to me. Yes there are clicks at the park but it seems to be all the Husky people and there are a lot of them there. Too bad about our water shortage because it's taken a toll on the grass but at least there is still grass unlike the Brea dog park. I've been there in the morning and see a lot of poop left over from the night before which is a shame because the morning people I've seen walk around with the scoopers keeping it nice for everyone. Forgot to mention there is a small dog side and a large dog side. One time a saw a Shepherd full size in the small side which I thought was cool because no one seemed to mind. Maybe it was a service dog I don't know. Will take my boy there again.

    wish there was more grass

I'm a regular at this dog park. Very clickish in the morning hours. You have the owners that know the dog park etiquette and those that some how never see their dog poop and have to be told. Unfortunately, most owners are just dog owners and do not understand how the different breeds play and communicate.

    dog owner

Rude, obnoxious dog owners. My great dane had a bad day. 2 encounters which I take full responsibility for, he was aggressive. After the second incident I leashed him up to get him out, it was obvious he was not going to be a good participant. I was met by a horrible woman who yelled at me to get my aggressive dog out of there immediately. It was obvious I was already leaving. My dane is usually very playful, and we have no issues at dog parks. The treatment I received was unnecessary and hurtful. Any dog owner knows dogs have bad days just like humans, and I was removing my dog so no others had to deal with him. Thank you to the people who did console me and Boss on the way out, you were very kind. But I will never return.

    First Time 3/10

I went here for the first time today because the irvine dog park was empty and loved it. Everyone was so friendly and their dogs were even sweeter. I'm so glad I went here because my dog loves it.

    Orange Dog Park

This is a large park with 2 sections, one for small dogs and one for big dogs like me. There are benches, water fountains and shade trees. There are areas with grass to run around in and a place with sand to dig in.
