    Awesome!!!

Off leash, trails out of the sun under the cover of trees, multiple entries to the creek. My dog loved roaming around and dipping into the cool water. Bring your phone, the park is so big, I nearly got lost!

    Awesome But Bikessss

My dog and I had an amazing time! Make sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet. The only thing is that mountain bikers will shoot out with no warning or heads up, at full speed about every 10 minutes so you have to watch out your dog to make sure it isn’t crushed.

    First Time

My dog and had a blast. Very dog friendly. The entire park is basically off leash. The only off leash areas are too dangerous for dogs.

Awesome Place To Hike off Leash But Be Careful!

Me and my pup have so much fun running on the trails! She loves being off leash! But be careful for the water! There are certain times due to rain and runoff the quality of the water can give your dog a really bad ear infections or I infections! Just be careful and check the website!

    Water!

Love this place! There is more trail than you could handle! Lots of shallow creeks for the dogs to play and meet other dogs. Not too many places here where you won’t see another dog.

Great creek to cool off in!

We had so much fun getting to explore this huge park, most of which is off leash! We walked down one of the trails to the creek and cooled off and played for about an hour. There were several other friendly dogs to play with and not too many bikers, we will definitely be back soon! Just watch for water moccasins during snake season!

    Not That Great

Too many bikes, not enough dogs. The bikes will run over you, or at least try, and there was no creek to speak of, only a shallow puddle.

    Regular

I take my dog here at least 4 times a week. There are so many trails there's no way to get bored. My dog loves it here. The creek is shallow in some areas but deep enough for her to swim in other areas. We both get our exercise for the day here! Be ware of the cyclists though! They will run over you and Fido if you're not careful!

    Doggie Heaven

I have been going to this park for months now and it is now my favorite. Lots of fun trails for an adventure! Fresh water to refresh your pups! Grab your hiking shoes for a long day out at Walnut Creek! Beware of cyclist, besides that everyone there is friendly :)

    Awesome Trail System

This park is a hidden gem, literally. Very easy to miss the entrance to the park itself but once you're on the trails along the creek it's great. Recommend shoes you don't mind getting dirty!

    Perfect

Haven't found a park as good. In the very middle of the summer the creek almost all goes, and the bikers come out on the weekends. Weekday mornings are perfect!

    No Dog Park Area

I'm omly giving this 4star out of 5 becasue I was under the impression that this park had a fenced in area, which it does not. There is plenty of off leash trails to follow and allow your pet to get some exercise. CAUTION: along the trail near the creek are trails where your dog may wander and fall off steep cliff. Happened to my Boxer, luckily no serious harm, only small sprain. creek

Trails, trees & water what more could a dog want

I just moved to Austin and was told by several people to check out this park. It is phenomenal area for your pooch! There are tons of trails and river access, not to mention all the other dogs and people who venture out. Easy access off of Parmer and a short drive through a lovely neighborhood and you have arrived to 200 acres of land most of which is off leash.

Great get-away for dogs & owners!

Great place for dogs and owners. Many trails to choose from. Mountain bikers were very courteous while riding on trails. We will definitely return while back in Austin!
