Looks like a brownstone, has a lowered courtyard out front, great for lounging. Near Embassy Row, walking distance to restaurants and the Mall. Valet parking is $40. Staff was friendly and neighborhood was conducive to walking my dog. Would return.

Located across the street from River Street. Restaurant in the hotel, breakfast was included in the reservation. Valet is $44.

Great location across from the outlets. You can tell they have tried to keep it up. New tile in the shower and jet powered toilet. However, the shower only got to warm after 5 mins, breakfast is still closed down due to COVID, even though no one wore a mask or practiced social distancing as stated as the reason for not having breakfast. Signs for “no dogs allowed” for the lobby and the front grass. The back grassy area was okay to use.

The floors had not been swept, found a water bottle cap in the sheets at the head of the bed. I thought it was a new type of mattress; unclip the cap to hook up a sanitizing machine, great idea post-pandemic, right? It took me a few to realize it was adhered to the sheet and by pulling it off, I was not going to ruin the mattress. Crazy.

The staff are courteous, always see them cleaning or maintaining the area. The property is older, but well-maintained, The room and common areas are clean, AC worked like a charm, grassy area for my dog, breakfast was basic offerings. Would return!

See other reviews for details on getting to beach. There were several sandbars not too deep to reach for humans and larger dogs. Helped separate groups of people rather than all gathering on the shore. Some shaded areas on the beach.

You get what you pay for! The mattress was lumpy, the bathroom needs to be renovated (not updated, renovated!), pool is closed, but the front desk staff was very nice. The power went out during check in and without hesitation, she switched to the downtime process and quickly checked me in. There are minimal green spaces for dog walking. For the cost and closeness to I-10 while passing through, it worked.

We hiked 3 miles through Florida “forest”. Trails are marked, intersect with biking trails. Other side of the park is a beach. $5 for entrance. Dogs must be leashed.

The trails were nice, not a lot of tree coverage from the sun. The creek area entry was small.

Off leash, trails out of the sun under the cover of trees, multiple entries to the creek. My dog loved roaming around and dipping into the cool water. Bring your phone, the park is so big, I nearly got lost!

Outside patio seating, servers loved on my dog and brought a water bowl for her.
