    Great, but lots of poo!

It's a very good sized dog park, pretty long. However, owners rarely pick up after the dogs. There are also two huge mud pits that never get filled, and half the area is dirt and other half grass. Hardly anyone uses the small dog park. Mosquitos and gnats are very prominent as there is a lot of standing water.

We have never had a single problem with our Cairn

This is hands down the best park in STL for small dogs. The small dog side is always empty when I go- and if there is someone else it's usually only one person and their small dog. The small dog side is nice and grassy and I see people in the small dog side clean up poo!!!! Now the big dog side is not as wonderful- firstly it's choppy pebble fill all over- which is disgusting because people don't pick up poo on the big dog side- so it gets gushy in with the pebbles!!! Then guess who steps in it...? Also I've pretty much seen every excuse for a Hoosier with their dogs in this park oh and a female IN HEAT!!!!!! I honestly can't blame the dogs because it's the stupid humans- but I am happy to sit and enjoy the little dog side with my little dog- which is like sitting in heaven compared to the big dog hell side. BIG DOG SIDE =NASTY
LITTLE DOG SIDE== BEST IN STL!!!

    feces infested park

i would love to give this dog park a good rating because its close to me and a good size but most owners dont pick up after their pets. The park is located next to swamp land and is invaded with mosquitos and flies and knats from the feces. The park boast water fountains but they never work or are not turned on so most owners bring their own water. Dog fights are a regular event because owners of aggressive breeds do not heed the park rules to not aloow these type of breeds. Not worth your dogs health to risk visiting due to parasites from feces.
