    Our favorite dog park!

We've taken our older dog, Buster, to several dog parks in Pittsburgh, but this is the first one he's actually enjoyed! We moved to the area in May and got a new puppy, Jax, in mid July so we decided to try out a new dog park. We found Penn Hills Dog Park my girlfriend, our boys, and I absolutely love it! Everyone we have met so far are so friendly and the boys have made so many furry friends! We've been here 5 times and we plan to keep going back.

    Great Park!!

Visiting a relative from out of town and thought I would give this park a go! Boy was my dog Ace so happy! There were many other dogs and owners who were very friendly! The other owners seemed like regulars as they knew all the dogs and people there! They were very welcoming and kept a close eye to make sure their dog did not “unwelcome or be aggressive” to mine! It was a great experience and will return next time in town! Thank you to the regulars for making US and ACE feel welcomed!

    Worst dog park ever!

I will never waste my time ever again by going to this dog park! There are very unfriendly dogs. Some of these dog owners are very mean and had no control over their dog. Worst dog park ever! Don't go.

    dog park

I love the Penn Hills dog park. The people and the dogs are very friendly. My dog lpves it. All dogs are accepted, not just expensive pure bred dogs. I wish there was a water source. But it is worth it even without. Some of the nicest people and dogs ever!

    Penn Hills Dog Park

I drive 8 miles from Plum so that my dog can enjoy the smells and much-needed socialization (with both dogs and people) that this park provides. He LOVES it and it helps me out since I cannot realistically walk a dog who sniffs and pees constantly in my manicured neighborhood. The only drawback is that he comes out completely covered in the saliva from the other dogs and needs a good rub-down with a towel before we head home...small price to pay for this great community asset. The road to the park is extremely narrow and I am nervous about what I will do when I encounter a vehicle coming the opposite direction. Give it a try...I have only gone a handful of times but there has not yet been any real aggression observed. Bring water and towel(s)...see above ;-}...and a couple of poop bags in case they are out of them.

Nice, Quiet and off the street

This park is almost in the center of Penn Hills, from Oakmont it's about a 20 minute drive, but it's worth it. A very narrow road takes you to a fully fenced in area with 90% grass! (shocking I know) There are approx 5 benches for you to sit on while your dogs run free; Bring water and toys! This place is never crowded. Nice place for shy or younge dogs; or the dogs your embarrased to take to a more popular park! We love it
