    Not For Every Dog

Took my dog here before it was flooded and sadly my small dog was pinned down by a larger dog after he stiffed him from behind as most dogs do! The owners apologized but my pups collar was torn and the bigger dog drew blood. The owners of the bigger dog kept their dog there but we left as they had no intent to take him out of the park?!My dog was ok, but it definitely shook us up and we were surprised that any dog owner allowed an aggressive dog to interact with other dogs in a dog park setting, that could have easily been a child or could have severely hurt my pup 😔 We won’t be back.

    Under Water

Because of the heavy rains this spring, the park is under water.

    gravel n mud pit

The dog park has gravel which is not good for webbed foot because it hard to run. Other area is muddy. The sound of 287 up above you.
Also address is wrong it's in Pomptan Plains not in Pequan.

    Worst Dog Park

This park is run by people who are the worst dog owners I have ever seen. It is not friendly to dog or human. It should be closed. Too many aggressive dogs with "BLUE TAGS".

    lovely little dog park

I like this dog park because there is a nice balance of pee gravel and grass and my dogs love all the other dogs that are there usually. Its small but great.

    Small but nice

It's a little on the smaller side but is well maintained, offers some shade and seating. There's also a children's playground across the parking lot so there's fun for all your kids, both furry and not-so-furry.

Dogs are supposed to be registered and wear Bark Park tags, free to residents of Pequannock, $25 for everyone else. Gates are not locked and no one has questioned me about my lack of tags...but sneak in at your own risk.

    Nice Park

All the dogs were nice and the park was great. I am not sure if there were membership requirements or not.
