    Unsafe & stressful.

I’ve given this place a ton of chances. mostly because the reviews are so good. but every time I’ve gone, I’ve witnessed a dog fight— once it was so bad that the woman’s dog was injured. everyone leashed their dogs up except for the man who watched his dog attack the other dog. he and his dog are frequent visitors.

Fenced in but out of control during peak hours

Nice and fenced in, one side for smaller dogs and one side for the bigger dogs. Around 10AM on a Sunday it was absolutely out of control, about 10 frenchies on the small side got into a fight and instead of removing their dogs from the park they just sent them to the big side, resulting in another fight breaking out. Park is great, humans need to learn manners.

Great Park in the South End

This is a really great park in the South End. There's a big dog side and a little dog side. The dog park is completely fenced in and is a great spot for meetups. The little dog side is shady and has rocks for the dogs to jump on. A lot of dog parks don't care about the little dog side but this one is really nice.

    Nice enclosed space

Clean with adequate space and seating. The water fountain is turned off in colder months. The ground is gravel, and there are lots of granite blocks around that my dog enjoyed sniffing and peeing on.

    Decent Park in South End

After living in So Florida for 3 yrs, I am spoiled by the beautiful grassy parks there. This is not at all like that. Small pebbles over dirt. Still it’s good to get the dog out and socialize. Weekdays are full of dog walkers and their packs (too many per person by park rules). Mostly friendly—I’ve never had a problem. I go on the small dog side if there’s a dog or two there for my guy to play. Take note, it’s treacherous with snow/ice in winter and smelly in hotter months.

    City Dog Park No Grass

Photo here is misleading. The fenced in areas for dogs is gravel. Ok spot for neighborhood locals. However during weekdays is filled with professional dog walkers and the place is packed with dogs who are not always well supervised. Lots of fights! Also the gravel creates lots of dust and can smell pretty bad on hot summer days.

    small and large dog sections

A great dog park for puppies. Dogs under 15 lbs have their own area.

    Nice little park

The Peter's Park dog run is a nice little area. It's well kept and there are plenty of benches. It is concrete and gravel, which our dog did not like, but that was the only issue. It seemed like the other dogs were very used to it.

    Peters Park

Nice park. Fences are a bit on the low side for larger, athletic dogs. Other than that it's a great off leash option in the city.

    Great Park!

Two (2) Spacious dog pens (one for smaller breeds) with a water fountain for the dogs and a side nozzle for washing dirt of your hands. There are rock obstacles for dogs to navigate and play on, enjoy the ease of picking up poo (how exciting right?) on white pea gravel. Besides the amenities of the park, the people are friendly, the neighborhood is tailored to dog owners and on a nice day your little pooch can meet up to 40+ other dogs (and still not be crowded) --the cons: no bags.

    Peters Park Review

Nice off leash dog park. 2 double gated entrances for safety. There is a water fountain made especially for dogs, plenty of seating for adults, rocks for the dogs to jump on/off. It's 13,000 sq ft. Nice fun area for your dogs to play. Bring your own bags- they are always out of stock in the dispensers.
