  Roscoes favorite dog park!

  We have been going to this dog park for about a year now and we haven’t found another like it! Roscoe is a black lab who loveeeesssss making friends! This park always has dogs. We have never come and it been empty. Like any other park of course we’ve seen some fights break out. Thankfully our baby has never gotten into it with another dog. This dog park has plenty of room for the dogs to run around. It has a small trail at the back multiple benches however we don’t use because we like to follow and watch him. It has multiple dog bag stations and a great water fountain! Highly recommend!

  Our Favorite Dog Park

  We come here at least once a week to let our 2 dogs run and play. We like that is has grass and a large wooded area with no wood chips.

  Our dog Yukon is NOT the bad husky described in a review. He has never met a dog he didn’t like and we didn’t know about this dog park a year ago when that review was written!!!

  We highly recommend this park. There are almost always other dogs there to play.

  Furry Fun

  I am the proud owner of an 8 month old Grey Pyranees. Pinter dog park is his favorite place to be. Anytime you ask him to load up he knows exactly whereches going. The other puppy parents are very sociable and everyone watches their dog's. We always ask other owners if their females are fixed as Baron is not yet. People respect each other and often form friendships at the park. We do have a little multipom but haven't taken him to the small dog section because he's older and grouchy unfortunately so I can't input on that part of the park. If you and your dog are both social come and enjoy a morning with us at the park. After one visit you'll be hooked.!

  Great park to socialize and tire out my collie

  There aren't any recent reviews so I thought I would add. My collie and I went Saturday and Sunday this past weekend and it was wonderful. The park is clean and there is lots of shade. They have a wooded area and then an open area to run. At one point on Saturday there were probably 20 dogs or so in the one big dog area. Which could be a disaster but all of the humans were watching and keeping the peace. And it was so nice because all of the humans there are dog people. So I don't have to worry that they will be upset if my collie jumps up for attention on someone or if dogs get in a scuffle. They are dogs, we are dog people, everything was great! There is a small dog area too. At one point it was empty so an owner took his older dog over there so that it wasn't so much excitement. Also, the park is back off the road, down a slow traffic road, so there was no worry of dogs running off or getting run over. Most dogs went to and from their cars without leashes.

  Problems escalating

  I agree with the woman about Yukon and his owner. Very disrespectful. Other dogs and owners are starting to be a problem. Could be a time we need an official to oversee the operation that has the power to request dog/owner to leave or to ticket. Call 911 people if there are problems that is the instruction on the main sign! TOO bad was an excellent park!

  Would be a nice park IF Cobb County would do their job. Water faucets have been broken for months & have been reported to the county for months. Presently they have been shut off. The Park is always wet from endless running faucets or rain (poor drainage). Results in reeking odor from urine & feces. County should have used either pea gravel or egg rock, not sharp drainage rock around concrete pad. Paws get cut on drainage rock.

  Most people are friendly & dogs get along.

  However, beware of Yukon, a Husky. He harasses other dogs & owner does not watch him. I have witnessed the fights Yukon instigates & other people asking them to leave the park. The owner does not clean up after Yukon.

  The County put up a huge sign of rules, some good common-sense, other rules ridiculous. You are not allowed to bring water in for yourself or your dogs.

  One rule they missed was, No Children Under the Age of 16 Years. It is inconsiderate to dog owners/pets & children to subject them to a possible danger. Some dogs are not raised with children & it is a potentially bad scenario. The dog & its owner will be in big trouble should a child be bitten.

  There is a nice play area for children adjacent to the dog exercise areas. No need for children to be in the dog area. VERY INCONSIDERATE OF PARENTS to jeopardize other people's pets & their children.

  Great park

  My daughter & I brought our 2 small dogs a couple of wks ago the small dog park was full of large dogs. The owners of the large dogs was very nice and move their dogs to the large parks

  Great Park!

  We go with ur three dogs and it's always fun. You can walk the perimeter for exercise while the dogs run free. They recently put sod down instead of wood chips. This is so much better
