    Beautiful area

We really liked this park. However, it’s only partially fenced. Nice large open section by entrance where most people hung out. We wandered towards back of park where the fencing stops and there are spectacular view points BUT deadly cliff drops. We were very nervous about our young dogs getting towards edge. Great trails around it where we left dogs off leash and explored. No water source for dogs.

I used to think this was a great spot.

My dog got attacked immediately within moments of us getting there . About five dogs came directly at her and were chasing her around me and a tree. No one recalled their dogs. My dog was attacked and bitten..not one person came to see if we were ok as we left . It was a nightmare. 400 dollars and lots of trauma. No more dog parks for us. 😞 My one bone is for my disappointment in all of the owners. Be careful out there.

Good for a dog that comes when called

While the dog park is very nice, if your dog likes to wander and doesn't always come when called, be careful. From the open area, there are a bunch of trails that lead off and intersect all over the place. If your dog wanders off, it may be tough to find them, plus they can get up to the road.

    A ton of FUN!

My dog loves this place, and so do I! There is an open area for dogs to play, however a lot of the "off leash demonstration area" is wooded. My dog LOVES to run in the woods and I like to walk too vs. just sitting on a bench throwing a ball. This park allows for both. There is now also a small fenced area for little pups. Water is limited so you may want to bring some. There is a rain barrel to catch rain from the roof of the shelter so in the winter that is usually full! Bags are available too.

    Off leas demonstation area

It's not showing on here, but there is a big section of the park that is to let the dogs off leash. It's not fenced so make sure you can control your dog!
It's a lot of fun, but so few people during weekdays. The dogs get to run and play, people bring toys for some of their dogs. However do not bring a toy if you don't want it destroyed!
I love the park. Especially the off leash part. There are benches, A covered area, a small open area, Water for the dogs (rain water with containers). It's just really enjoyable.
I suggest reading up on dog park etiquette before going though.

It's great to end a good walk threw the park with the dog leashed by making a stop off at the off leash area to make sure the dog has burned off ALL his energy before going home.
