Popular for many reasons
Pros: grass(!), shade, water fountains, restrooms, three areas by size, plenty of parking, lights for night time! Lots of obstacles make this a fan favorite for many
Cons: walk from parking, rumor of mosquitoes. Also, keep an eye out for coyotes.

Three separate areas - nice people that communicate well (ie. my dog is shy, may I pet, here’s your ball back, etc. )

Best Dogpark Location
I can't believe the other reviewer only gave this park 2 stars. It is absolutely 5+ Stars. Three separate fields next to each other, small, large and needy. The city can close one for maintenance and we still can go. Fully Grassed, water in each field. Benches for lunch. This has to be on your list of dogparks to visit!
BTW, I've never seen any mosquitoes, the creek runs all the time so no hatching going on.

poor accessibility
This park is located in the back of the community park. Parking and traffic is a problem. The creek running in the wash drainage area is infested with mosquitos and other critters. So be careful in the dusk hours as you will leave with a few welts on your skin.
