    Great Dogs

I have been going here for awhile, and have only had trouble when I took a dog I was house-sitting and it became aggressive (given that it was a snow dog and almost 90 degrees outside, so that was really on me).

Any other times I have gone over the years, the dogs have been fine. The only turn off is the owners, who can be pretty judgemental if your dog is purebred, too small for their taste, too large for their taste, too much like a puppy, etc. I tend to stick to the side and remain silent, mostly because I've had enough bad interactions with owners that I just don't want to repeat those again.

Overall, however, the park is nice, a little small, always has toys, and is on an incline, which I think helps to tire out the dogs more.

    Good small park for fetch

I went camping in the area and wanted to get my dog to an off-leash area. I had a great experience with friendly dogs and owners, sun and shade, and a good dog water dish with water hose. The off-leash area isn't huge and it won't take you 45 minutes to walk around, but it is plenty big enough for dogs to chase each other or play fetch. If I'm back in the area I will come back.

    owner.

usually a nice park but it only takes ONE bad dog to keep the nice ones away. my pup was attacked by a pit bull. the owner didn't even apologize. The police were called in and talked to the dog owner. Regardless, i will not take my dog here again. sad that the nice dogs stay away so the mean dogs can 'take over' the park.

    B ad owners of pits

I have visited this dog park a number of times. I have encountered several dogs who have issues with aggression. I don't know if this a recent issue> I have seen a white van no windows with two brindle pits who are aggresive I did not even go in to the park. Normally the park is great dogs are mellow its a fun park Watch out for this Van. not all pits are this way. I blame irresponsible owners. I would have given it a higher number except for this problem.
