Tar Pits Park
Bring Fido for a walk on the Carpinteria Bluffs Trail at Tar Pits Park in Carpinteria, CA. The area is one of the only five locations on the planet to see a natural tar seep and it can be seen from the trail along a short stretch of beach. Pets are welcome as long as they're cleaned up after. Dogs are prohibited on the beach.
