Expect to see tons of off leash dogs on the weekend! Great hiking paths.

There is a main area where you can walk your dog off leash. It's up a hill with a good inclide so you and your dog will get a good workout. This road is paved and is great for dog walking. Some of the other trails are muddy and have poison oak so I would stick to the main off leash dog area if you are walking your dog.

A huge park for on or off leash hikes, with shady hikes and sunny ones (this place can be really hot compared to other parks in the area, not so great for heatwave weather). There’s so much to explore, you’re more likely to get lost than bored with the same scenery.

This was our first time here since moving to the east bay. It’s so pretty and very we maintained. Lots of other dogs around - was amazing to be able to let Bean off leash. Not many trash bins other than at the entrance so be sure to pack poop bags to carry out

Great place to bring dogs. Their off leash area is large and when we were there the dogs we met were all well behaved and socialized.

This park is really great if you have small kids or dogs. It is an off leash area so your dog can run free and enjoy. However, make sure that your dog is up to date with tick medicine. I pulled 8 ticks off of my dog when I got home. Another thing is poison oak. Make sure you wipe your dog down before you get back into the car. (I keep baby wipes that work great.)
There are a lot of cool things to see such as the labyrinths and free range grazing cows. Bring a camera because the views are great too! - Erik YatesMore than a year agoHave had some good adventures here
I've always approached this park from the Tunnel Rd. exit, the one nearest the Caldecott's eastern end. I believe it's the Sibley Preserve when entering it from there, but not 100% sure. I've found the steep climb from the parking area to be a good workout for my dog, and the views can be quite inspiring at the top of some of those hills. 'Steer' clear of marked areas if cattle are a problem.
- LezlieMore than a year agoThe situation at Sibley has become untenable.
The situation at Sibley has become untenable.
The numbers of dogs off-leash in areas where it is inappropriate (and clearly marked as such) has grown to an absurd level. Professional dog walkers and inconsiderate owners are allowing their animals to harass other dogs, wildlife, livestock, other hikers, and ruining the the beautiful earth work labyrinths and trails.
