I have been taking my Hound mix Puppy Daisy here pretty much every day over the past month. I have found the dogs to be well behaved, and the owners very respectful. A friendly group of people and a bunch of good dogs. The park is pretty clean, but there are some mud holes around under the benches.

Today was my first time taking my jack russell to this park. We had a great time! We didn’t have any issues with the park being muddy on the day we went. It was a nice warm sunny day. The trees towards the back provide nice shaded areas for the dogs to hang out. There are benches scattered throughout the park for owners to sit and watch their dogs if they want. While I was there, there were plenty of dogs with responsible dog owners.

The picture shows lush green grass at this park, however over the years it has turned to a dusty, dirty, dog park. I have a white dog. We went there once and will not be going back and unfortunately it’s right down the street from me. When he’s playing with other dogs and they get rolling on the ground he gets covered in dirt and their slobber turns it to mud . There is no more grass here. If you don’t mind that then it’s fine. Fenced in, always water. Lots of dogs. Also the park is closed M-Th 10:30-11:30. Ifbyou don’t mind driving, the best dog park is in Philly at the end of Fitler Square where the schuyllkill river is. Artificial turf and pavers make for a lovely experience and there are two sides. One for small dogs one for larger dogs.
- CharlesMore than a year agoGreat Place
We brought our 1 year old rescued pointer/whippet mix here after trying another dog park that was not fenced in. This park is completly fenced, is very clean, and full of nice dogs. it is big enough for our dog to show off his speed, but small enough that you can keep an eye on your dog at all times. there are bags provided and tennis balls and tug toys are everywhere, they even provide water bowls but you may need to bring your own water.
