Edgewood Bark Park

The park is serviced by a dog-friendly church immediately adjacent to the facility, and they supply ice chests of cold, bottled water on site. Lovely open field

Park once used to exercise greyhounds—there are still a few hours a week dedicated to that breed. Park is very clean w/ a sheltered seating area at one end. Maintained by the adjacent church (thanks guys!) If your dog needs a good run this is where to go.

    Edgewood Bark Park

Sorry to hear of your unpleasant visit to our park. There are signs posting the Greyhound hours but signs are small and can be overlooked easily. I apologize for the encounter with the 1 Greyhound owner. Any other time you would have come, you would have met some wonderful dog owners and had a great time. We have posted the Greyhound hours on the main facebook page of the park hopefully that will help. Once again we are truly sorry for this incident.

    The people were extremely rude

The dog park is owned by the church and they never posted on line that between 5:15 and 7:15 it’s for Grayhound only. which I would have gone to another park if it would have said that. An old man with his face all black and blue came up to us and said it’s Grayhound only. I said we just drove 12 hours from Florida and I just wanted to let him run around a bit. Then he started to raise his voice saying he’s been coming here for 25 years and we can’t go in. Then he told me we could use the little dog side with my 96 lb lab. so after driving 12 hours, with a lab in the car we let him run around a 20 x 30 enclosed area. Which I was ok with but why the aggression ? I wasn’t being nasty or fighting with him. Then I realized that they were pointing at us and staring. This was creepy. Like a horror movie. So we left.
