    does not have grass

I was at this park an hour ago. We have used it since it’s inception. It does not now, nor has it ever had any grass.

    Sandy Shenanigans

This park may not have grass, but it has sand versus dirt. It has all the amenities that you need at a dog park. Two separate sections for small and large dogs. (double entry gates, water faucet, poo bags, trash receptacles and a few activity tunnels)

There are no trees, but there are benches (some covered)for us humans and a ramada adjacent to the entrance that has picnic tables.
It was very clean and luckily, the other doggo that was present was friendly. There are also human restrooms near by. Parking is plentiful.

Not too far off of the Interstate either. Good stopping point to let the pups stretch their legs. Close to lots of restaurants as well.

    oh what a relief!

Nice secure area. I ran around and met a nice new friend, play ball. Then it was back in the car as we are traveling for several days.

Nice area for dogs to run!

Park is divided for big and little dogs. Safe area. Water available for thirsty dogs. Great place to take a dog if living in a cooped up place. Friendly people and dogs.

    Annoyed

As others have said there is no shade for dogs and there is more dirt then grass. however i bring my dog to play with other dogs and some people bring small children in with them which is not right, my dog doesnt like small children they always try to pet her because shes small and cute, so when they bring kids in i have to leave. kids belong in the park not the dog park.

    Not fun

Every time we have gone someone brought their unfriendly little growler that hates other dogs, really takes all the fun out of it.

    Boring!

If it's a flat, dead grass area surrounded by a chainlink fence that you are looking for, then this is the place. While it is a very nice park, there is a ramada outside of the fenced area, the dog park has no shade, or trees, for the pets or owners to stand under in this hot desert weather. There is also nothing for the dogs to jump on, or jump over. A small obstacle course would be really nice.

    Eh-h-h-h!

Silverbell-Cortaro Dog Pack is an open, empty space with nothing to recommend it for the dogs.
