Spring Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area
Spring Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area is a pet-friendly state park in Manito, IL. Bring Fido with you while you explore some of the 2,032 acres and its recreational opportunities. The lake is 8.5 miles long and includes 18 miles of shoreline, bordered by a sandstone bluff. The park also offers five hiking trails, including the 2.5-mile Stage Coach Road, the half-mile Deer Run, and the Whispering Pine with separate trails of half a mile, 1.5 miles, and 2.5 miles. Dogs are welcome as long as they're leashed and cleaned up after.
