Small/shy Dog Area Doesn't have a Separate Entrance

The small/shy dog area is just a fenced section inside the regular dog park. There isn't a separate entrance for the small/shy dogs. You have to walk (or carry) your small/shy dog through the regular dog park in order to access this section. Also, there is only a single gate for the small/shy dog area. When I was visiting, there was a gap in the gate which would have been big enough for my chihuahua mix to escape into the regular dog area. However, my dog found a hole about a foot wide near the corner where she jumped through and escaped into the regular dog park. Luckily, all of the big dogs were hanging out near all of the agility equipment and were very engaged. The rest of the fencing and gates seemed secure. The dogs and owners were friendly. There are mowed grass walkways around the fenced dog park and there appears to be lots of other similar trails for walking your dog on a leash.

    Nice Park

Spent an hour here with the local dogs - lol. We are from the south Bellingham area so it was a bit of a drive to Marysville. It is a long walk (maybe couple hundred yards on a mostly flat, dirt road. Inside the large area is a very small dog area. There is a bathroom and running water onsite. There is no shade for anyone on very hot or sunny days! Lots of friendly dogs and owners! 4 stars due to no shade but long enclosed area for dogs to really race or run sprints!

    Great park

Yes this is a long walk....I use a walker and was able to get there with little effort...also not in great shape...but important thing is dog loved it...nice people and dogs. But of course so of the dog owners don't feel they need to pick up their dog's poop. Will go again.

    My Go-To Park

Love this park! It is a nice walk out to the park. Friendly people and dogs. Never had a problem there. Water access for the dogs to drink, plenty of poop bag dispensers and overall clean park. This park is funded by donations and volunteers which are doing an amazing job keeping it up. Thank you! Would highly recommend this park. :)

    No Problems

This is my favorite park around! Been here many times and I have never had a problem with any other dogs or people. Very friendly people and it's a nice walk out to the park. There is water for your dogs to drink and it is always clean there. This has always been my go to dog park. ????

    Too Far to Walk

This off leash area is WAY too far from the parking area - there is a trail to get there but if you have trouble walking very far or are disabled in any way...forget it. The trail is often muddy and is not wheel chair accessible or even foot traffic friendly unless you are in good shape.
