good, clean, friendly
We went on a Thursday at 2pm and there were a few dogs there. The dogs were friendly, the owners were nice, grass is well kept, I didn't see any leftover poop piles, the water fountain was great, and it was securely fenced. That's everything you want in a dog park.

The better one of the two in West Sacramento.
Friendly people but small. The small dog area is very tiny with only waist-high fences. The large dog area is long and narrow. Happy hour (after work on weekdays) seems to be the best time to find other people to play with and dogs to chit chat. Or something like that. Outside that time, you'll likely find an empty or almost empty park.
