    Golden approved!

Visited this dog park twice while visiting Las Vegas. Separate areas for big and small dogs, water available and clean.

    Wonderful park

Went there while traveling with our dogs. Park was clean, people and dogs were friendly, the grass was well kept. My dogs absolutely had a blast.

    Nice Park

I visited this dog park while passing through Las Vegas on a road trip to give my GSD Coco some exercise. It was pretty clean (although I never let her drink the water in dog parks) and there were a lot of dogs her size. She had a blast playing with other dogs and their owners. I had a hard time getting her to leave.

Got to witness a fist fight

Dogs just don’t fight here, owners do as well. If you like bringing your dog to parks to fight or get attacked then this is the place for you. Don’t worry about the police coming, they took over 20 minutes to arrive and everyone involved in the altercations already took off. So don’t worry, it’s a great place for ignorant people to go too.

    Our Go-to

We went to Charlie Frias for a while but after finding Sunset, we haven't returned to CF. Nice owners, dogs are mostly mild mannered, lots of space to run around. Plenty of parking, lots of people there nearly every time we go, and a few shady spots to stand in. Would recommend to anyone in the area. We drive 15min to get there, that's how much we like it.

    Sunset Dog Park

I drive 20 minutes across town multiple times a week to bring my dog here. The owners are generally responsible and the rotating 3 park system mears you always get a clean park. I find summer makes people grumpy and that stresses out the dogs which is where I'm going to assume the negative reviews here are coming from but we've been regulars for over a year and would highly recommend it.

Used to be nice, now potentially unsafe

Like others have said, this used to be a great park. Seems like recently it has gone downhill. I used to take my dogs there everyday, but the last two trips caused me to have to change. First, a young woman told me that she felt uncomfortable by an older man who was relentlessly hitting on her and following her around. Second time, some drunk guy wouldnt stop following/talking to me and ended up trying to follow me to my car before his dog ran the other way. Don't get me wrong the ovewhelming majority of people who bring their dogs are nice, but it seems that a few bad apples are ruining the bunch.

    Disappointed

We have visited this park many times, and if my dog Grace had her way we would still be going. I have seen dog fights, people fights and many other negative interactions. This should be a bonding time for dog owners...What is up?

    Bitten

My dog was also attacked and bitten. The owner mentioned his dog only attacked another dog one other time. What????!!!! Didn't offer to help when both his dogs jumped on mine. And didn't offer to pay for medical attention.

    Unfriendly

This used to be a great park. It is well maintained, has 3 separate areas that rotate for small and large dogs, and used to have friendly dogs and owners. Recently we have had on several occasions been subject to abusive people and their dogs. Too many people who do not know how to control their dogs so your dog may be attacked or even you. Am looking for a new dog park for my furry family.
