Cabrini Playground
Leashed dogs and their owners are welcome to visit the pet-friendly Cabrini Playground in New Orleans, LA. This fenced park features a playground, picnic shelters, shade trees to unwind beneath, and a large multi-purpose field. According to a city ordinance, all owners must remove any waste while visiting.

After having been to many if not most parks in New Orleans, I believe this one to be the best. Spacious and enclosed, it is perfect for dogs both social and shy. I have been taking my rescue dogs here for years and it has done wonders to socialize and blossom them into their best selves. Only complaint is park closes at 6p in winter/spring which IMO is too early.
