National Famine Way is a pet-friendly trail that leads from Strokestown, IE to Dublin, IE. This historic trail is just over 100 miles in length and traces the footsteps of the 1,490 famine emigrants who left Strokestown in 1847. The route will take you and your pooch along the banks of the Royal Canal on a self-guided heritage trail with signage along the way.
