Rocky Gap State Park
Owners are invited to explore Flintstone, MD's dog-friendly Rocky Gap State Park with their four-legged companions. Spanning over 3,000 acres with the 243-acre Lake Habeeb in the middle, this well-known recreation area features an array of amenities for visitors. Leashed dogs are permitted in the campground common areas, the Ash, Birch, Chestnut, Dogwood, and Elm camp loops, and the Easter Hill Chalet. Pets are also permitted in day-use areas and the lake, except for designated sandy portions of swimming areas from Memorial Day weekend to after Labor Day.
