Visit the dog-friendly Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site in Barbourville, KY. Leashed pets are welcome at this recreation area, which celebrates the first frontiersman in Kentucky who also built the first cabin in Kentucky, a replica of which stands on the site today. Fido will love to stroll the grounds, go picnicking and browse the historical sites. Please note pets must be leashed at all times, and are not permitted in any buildings.
