  Dangerous Dog Park!

  Beware a dangerous dog park! There must be a lot of dog fights at this dangerous place so stay FAR away. I took my dogs out for a meet and greet. The owner told me my dogs even though they were friendly they were too power and when fights happen at HIs dog park he was scared what they would do! I go daily to a dog park in the city and never have issues. Stay away from [the owner] and his dog fight park!

  No barking?

  Park is spacious and very nice, but we have 2 collies who are chatter boxes, and during the temperament test the owner told us that barking wasn’t allowed because it gets the other dogs too riled up. There were also no other dogs playing with each other while we were there, it felt like the dogs weren’t allowed to be dogs.
  I highly recommend the Southwest City Dog Park instead - smaller, but much less expensive and allows dogs to do dog things.

  Dogs Love It!

  I have a Lab mix and a Lab/pit mix. They underwent the temperament test. And if he had said no pit mixes I would have been okay with that. I understand that the breed makes people nervous. Luckily my dog doesn't have a mean bone in his body and loves dogs and people. Both dogs love going here and it keeps them social and exercised.

  As someone accurately pointed out in another post, this park is not owned by a municipality or city. It is privately owned. To the traveling nurse, I would understand your frustration if it was publicly-owned park, but it’s not. Please let me know when you buy 11 acres of land, fence it in, create trails, equip it with watering stations, etc. and then allow the public to use it for free; I’d love to utilize it. Entitled are we?

  Breed Restrictions

  This park has breed restrictions, actually only one! It does not allow pitbull or pitbull mixes. The owner says all major fights there has involved pits & that even if they are fine at first after a few Months they snap. Seriously?! Clearly he has no professional knowledge of canine behavior.

  Love this park!!!

  We love this dog park. Our 2 year old Chocolate Lab really loves it! He can run to his hearts content, play with other dogs and socialize or just recognize all the new sights and smells. He also goes there with his girlfriend who is not as active but enjoys walking the whole park and meeting new friends. Both of them have to be told when it is time to leave because they would stay all day if we let them. And all the member dogs must be up to date in shots and socialization tested before they can join so we always feel safe. Thank you Wayne for a great job!

  Dog Heaven

  So many acres for dogs to roan, run, sniff and play! Hills and meadows. Shade and sunshine. Never feels over crowded. Wayne does a great job and personally temperment tests the dogs before allowing membership. We have 2 small boys and they adore this park and all the other dogs from small to large. Great place for both owners and dogs to exercise, relax and enjoy being outdoors.

  In answer to "Elitist"

  Go for it! Treecourt is a privately owned piece of property which is not funded by the state or local municipalities. Wayne maintains the 9 acres on his own. Keeps the grass cut, works constantly on making it a clean and safe environment for people and pets. I cannot say enough about his commitment to making this a special place for dogs to run and play. So go for the free dog parks. I'm sure there are some very nice ones. But you won't get the "hands on" feeling that you do at Treecourt. I'll bet Wayne even knows the names of just about all the dogs that visit.

  Does not allow pit bulls

  I understand that pitbulls have a poor reputation, but there is no need to exclude a certain breed when the park does a temperament test before allowing the dog to play in the park. My pitbull plays well with other dogs, loves humans, and has never bitten nor tried to bite anyone. We had her since she was a puppy and have socialized well with lots of other animals so she's used to them. She's a great dog and shouldn't be excluded from such a fun park because of her breed.

  I'm a traveling nurse and like dog parks that don't cost money to visit. The one in my hometown is free, which is how it should be.

  Wonderful Safe Dog Park

  I can't say enough good things about this dog park. Wayne, the owner, actually temperment tests the dogs before allowing membership which adds a sense of security and safety. We've been going for two years and I've seen very few problems and no big ones. It's a great place for both dogs and parents, everyone gets along! And if you have a dog who loves to run this is the place for you. My 95 pound two year old "puppy" loves to chase the ball, there's no place better than the huge, fenced space. Water and waste cans are convenient and in the summer a couple kiddie pools for cooling off. Your pup will love it. Mine does!

  Great Dog Park!

  We've been members at Treecourt since Feb-2010. There is so much space there that it never feels overcrowded. I find the dog park members to be very responsible dog owners and a pleasure to talk to. Although there isn't separate area's (yet) for small/big dogs, they all seem to get along extremely well, which again could be attributed to the great doggie owners/members.

  Treecourt is a ball-chuckers dream, so if you have a Golden, Lab or any other dog that love to retrieve, this is the park for you. There's a LOT of space.

  There are water spickets and bowls conveniently placed around the park, and just enough large trees and pavilions to provide shade on those really warm days.

  I can't say enough about Treecourt. We and our dogs (we have 3) absolutely love it!

  Great Park

  This park is great. There is a walking trail around the perimeter for the humans. There are water spickets that work year-round. They even have pools for the pooches. It is $33/month, but the first visit is always free.
