Town Creek Indian Mound State Historic Site

Town Creek Indian Mound, a pet-friendly place in Mount Gilead, NC, defies typical archaeological patterns with over 50 years of continuous research. Set along the Little River, it offers a 1/4-mile nature trail featuring diverse flora and outdoor exhibits on native species.
