Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge
Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is a pet-friendly area in Columbia, NC. It's renowned for conserving rare "pocosin" wetlands and vast natural areas, with recreational opportunities like hiking, boating, biking and inviting visitors to reconnect with nature. All pets must be leashed and under the owner's control at all times. Pets are not permitted on the Duck Pen Wildlife Trail.
