Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge
Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge is a dog-friendly destination that preserves 2,500 acres of diverse habitats in Oak Harbor, OH. Once a renowned hunt club, it now supports waterfowl, bald eagles and rare plants. Visitors can enjoy fishing, wildlife watching, birding and non-motorized boating. Deer hunting is by lottery in July, while waterfowl hunting is permitted along Lake Erie's shore. Visiting dogs must be leashed at all times.
