    Awesome

Stopped by on our way through. It is not huge but it is still a good size. There are nice trees for shade tables, benches... They have a little pool for dogs to cool off in and you can. Make water spray from above.

Bonnie and Tori loved it. They ran and ran. Tori even walked the fence with a lady walking the trail next to it.

People who go there take care of this gem. You won't be stepping in poop in holes. We were there noonish during the week and had it to ourselves. They loved it.

As for the people being rude? They were nice to us.... I just can't imagine the lady who checked us in being rude so maybe it was not the same lady. It is a great facility to visit.

Now, it is $3 for a gate pass and you leave your drivers license but they give it back when you return the pass. There was a small pail at the water spigot not sure if it is always there so might want to bring your own pail.

    Unfriendly!

My fiance and I are in Kansas City for work on a temporary basis. We are staying in an extended stay hotel because we do not know how long we will be here. We have our 3 month old pitbull puppy with us; She has so much energy and wants to play all the time. We found Wayside Waifs Bark Park on the internet and drove 45 minutes to get there. When we get there the receptionist tells us we aren't allowed at the bark park because our puppy is a pitbull; That if anything were to happen it would more than likely be her fault. I get people have horrible prejudices against pitbulls, but this could at least be something they openly advertise so people do not waste their time going there. Not only that, but the receptionist was rude which just topped off the negative experience. They have separate parks for big breeds and small breeds, but their parks are rather small with no toys/entertainment for the dogs.
