    Wells Park Off-Leash Dog Area is a dog-friendly, 1.4 acre area in El Cajon, CA, featuring two separate areas: one for larger dogs and one for smaller/shy breeds. There are plenty of beautiful shade trees and a shelter area with picnic tables. Your pooch will enjoy a specially designed water fountain for dogs to cool off after their romp.       Homeless are gone now

      there is security now to drive off the homeless, I take my baby there all the time

      Bad location

      Parking lot is filled with trash and homeless people yelling and etc. Took my dogs out just to poop and pee before heading back to the car to go somewhere else... never made it to the actual dog park area.

      Haven for homeless

      I used to bring my dogs here on a regular basis. The homeless drug addicts have taken over this park and made it unsafe to come to now. So sad as this was a very nice park.

      love this park

      This is by far my fav park! I just don't live out there anymore. It's great to separate the big and smalls. Lots of grass, shade, benches, and parking.

      dog park

      I go to the park side for small dogs... The park it self is nice, but some of the pet owner aren't very friendly.. They don't cleanup after their pets when they poop. they also bring large dogs on the small dog side. I've see several dog fights on both sides of each park. I'm looking for another park to go to where the people and their pets are friendly.
