Governor Nelson State Park in Waunakee, WI is a pet-friendly recreation space where visitors can bring their furry companions to enjoy boating, fishing and picnicking. They offer a designated pet picnic and swim area north of the public beach/picnic section. Pets must be on a maximum eight-foot leash, attended at all times and picked up after. Note that dogs aren’t permitted on playgrounds, buildings, observation towers or benches.
