Black River State Forest

This 68,000-acre, pet-friendly recreational area is an ideal destination for hunting, hiking, skiing, canoeing, camping or picnicking with your beloved pet. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet long, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals. Pets are prohibited from the Castle Mound, Pigeon Creek or East Fork nature trails.
