    Irresponsible Owers

Mean dogs at this park with owners who don’t pay attention, it’s also just a ton of dirt

There’s Good Days And Bad Days

It depends on the day but the park can either be wonderful or bad. I like that there are three separate sections for the dogs, the big dog park, the middle park for aggressive dogs or dogs that need a break, And a small dog park. There are weight limits, however some people don’t abide to those rules. I have an 8 pound puppy and he has had some aggressive encounters with dogs that are in the small dog park that are over the weight limit but only on rare occasions. On a lighter note, the people are wonderful. I have only ventured to the small dog park but most people get along and stay with their dogs. You can often hear a couple fights happening on the other side to the big dog park, but they’re dogs, what do you expect? The biggest thing owners themselves can improve on is picking up after their dog. There are a couple piles of poop as you walk into wiggly Field, but there’s not much poop within the actual dog areas. Be mindful that there are kids in the park sometimes that will try to play and pick up your dog without parental supervision (although it’s against the rules). I really would recommend this park to dog owners, especially if your dog is new and needs to be socialized, just give it to her three trips and your dog will be playing with the others for hours! It is pretty well maintained and overall a safe place for dogs with sticks galore!

    LOVE this Dog Park!

I just recently adopted a dog from the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter and a man we saw on a walk one day recommended this dog park. It’s about a 10-12 minute drive from my apartment but it’s worth the drive! My dog Joone absolutely loves coming here and so do I! We come here as often as we can! There are 3 sections: one for big,medium,small/friendly dogs, one for dogs to get acclimated to the dog park setting or for dogs who may be a big aggressive, and one for small dogs. There are always a lot of people at the dog park around lunchtime 12-3 until around 5:30-6. You’ll eventually figure out the best times to bring your dog for peak play time. I have not had one bad experience here. The other dog owners are always very friendly and open to conversation! The dogs are always running around playing with other humans and of course, the other dogs! It’s very clean (occasionally poop on the ground but it gets cleaned up) and there is on site water bowls with a water spigot (turned on when it’s not too cold in the fall/winter) and people usually bring their own water to fill the bowls for their dogs and the others as well.
This is a great place to bring your fur baby to get socialized and to let out their energy and have a lot of fun! There are trails that lead you to a little pond where your dog can swim in and they also go around another lake and wrap around back to the parking lot. I recommended this dog park to all new and experienced dog owners!

    It’s alright

I keep going back because it’s close and the people are nice there, but the place is a dump.

    One and done

First visit will be our last. The amount of littered poop is beyond disgusting - it is also an indictment of the self centered rudeness in our society in general.

    Basic park for small dogs

Visited a couple of times. Our dachshunds like it but get bored pretty quick. When no large dogs are in the big park (wouldn't take them over otherwise) they loved all the hills and chasing squirrels.

We walk the back path for a 10 minute extra.

Terrible... so much dog crap in the yards... people be responsible and pick up!!! Also nobody checking for rabies tags or other vaccinations so let your dog in at risk of he/she health disgusting and not going back

    great park and trails

My pack loves their outings to Wiggly Field. We often get in 3+ miles on the trails, my lab swims in the lake and pond and then play with their human and dog friends in the park. The only downside is the many snakes in the summer but that comes with living in Texas : (

    Great dog park

This park is 3 acres and has 3 areas, one for large dogs over 30lbs, one for under 30lbs. and one for shy dogs. The park has tables, benches, water fountains, and waste bags. It is very well maintained.
