Trenitalia is a pet-friendly train company located in Florence, IT, where dogs are welcome to hop aboard to journey across the country. Passengers are permitted to bring one dog, cat or other pet in a carrier. Small furry friends can travel free of charge in First and Second class, or owners can purchase a ticket for larger dogs for half the price of a regular ticket. Pet owners must have a health certificate, registration, leash and muzzle when traveling with an animal.
